The Délire de Voyage collection is enriched with its second fragrance, dedicated to and inspired by the terrible event of the Notre-Dame Cathedral fire in Paris, which occurred on April 15, 2019.

However, the invitation is not to dwell on that date, but to reveal its true Essence to the world.

Filippo Sorcinelli, known as the popes' tailor, wanted to capture three main moments in the new extrait de parfum: the triggering event, water on the stones, and the Essence that remains.

Notre-Dame Cathedral is undoubtedly one of the most well-known and visited sacred buildings in the world.

Filippo had the privilege of accessing areas off-limits to tourists and capturing unexpected images, smells, and values.

But what is the Essence of the Cathedral? We are immediately led to believe that it only possesses the strong scent of incense.

Nothing could be more incomplete! The smell of Notre-Dame is not incense.

Today, it is that instant of smoke that marks history.

It is also water overflowing from the stones, running down the sides of the organ.

Today, it is the tearing of the vaults that lets light in from the bare sky.

It is the smell of uninterrupted life, of an untouched Soul; it is a golden Cross that gushes forth.

It is Truth that advances.

Notre-Dame 15.4.2019, its true essence, will be a small support to the Maîtrise, the ensemble of singers and musicians who preserve the invaluable heritage of the Cathedral's Sacred Music.

The proceeds from sales will be donated to the Musique Sacrée association, to help them continue their activities and mission, currently outside of their "home."

As always, particular attention is given to the packaging: the bottle cap is a monolith of burnt wood, evoking the tragic moment of the fire, with the fragrance name nailed to it.

Upon opening, the characteristic four "falling wings" are painted and signed directly by Filippo Sorcinelli with symbols, colors, and stylistic elements attributable to the Paris Cathedral: four true small "paintings," which lead back to a single, true, and exclusive work of art.
